Our crystal salt comes from the foothills of the Himalayas. These 200 million year old salt layers are high in minerals and trace elements, providing the highest quality of natural salt.

When the rock salt crystal heats up, it emits negative ions. These ions clean the air by removing dust, pollen, dander, and cigarette smoke.

Positive ions deteriorate the quality of air we breathe. If exposed to dampness, leave the lamp lit for several hours to omit the surplus humidity, and then easily remove any powdery material that may have appeared on the surface.

Salt Crystal Lamps are on a hardwood base and include a replaceable 4-watt bulb and 6 ft. cord set with an on/off switch. Salt Crystal Candles use a tea light candle - palm wax tea light included. Each Salt Crystal specimen differs somewhat size, shape and color, with colors ranging from off-white to apricot to orange.
